Meg
Meg fell in love with dancing as a child. She took classes in multiple genres at a local dance school for many years. She began assisting in classes in her late teens and found her love for teaching.
Meg is so proud of the community that has been built from Silhouette Dance and it's core values - we are a family, we build confidence, we give structure and discipline but in a fun and encouraging environment. She loves nothing more than being able to share her passion for dance.

Meg holds a GCSE A* grade & distinction A level in dance. Dance leadership qualification. Qualified associate freestyle dance teacher with IDTA. Acrotrix Teaching Qualification.
She is also fully insured, first aid trained, DBS checked and holds a chaperone licence,

Abbie
Abbie's passion for dance started from a young age where she regularly attended dance classes across a number of disciplines; Ballet being her favourite. She danced for many years.

She is proud to be a part of the Silhouette Dance family, working alongside Meg, helping to nurture and encourage all dancers of the next generation.
​
Abbie also runs Toddler and Me classes which provides toddlers with the building blocks to help with their confidence, musicality and movement. Please see www.toddlerandme.net for more information.

Abbie is fully insured, first aid trained, DBS checked and holds a chaperone licence.
Dance Teacher
Taylor has been dancing since the age of 6. She has been taught by Meg since she opened Silhouette Dance in 2011.
​
Taylor is extremely passionate about dance and is a huge asset to our dance school. She has many years of experience performing in pantomimes and entering competitions.
​
She qualified in February 2024 with AcroTrix as an Acro Assistant and works along side Meg helping dancers achieve their acro skills.
Taylor is DBS checked, first aid trained and holds a chaperone licence,

Coco has been taught by Meg since the age of 7. She has flourished over the years into an extremely talented dancer. Her future plans are to turn her passion for dance into a career.

You will see Coco working along side Meg and assisting with the younger street commercial groups.

Chaperones
You will often see our wonderful chaperones welcoming dancers in the reception, helping back stage at performances and everything else in-between. We are very lucky to have them a part of our team. Emma, Jules and Amy are all first aid trained.
